University Research Associates, Angelique Taverna and Meril Mariano, did a self-introduction and research presentation to the Molecular Ecology and Health Unit of Ehime University during their weekly seminar. Angelique presented her former research area entitled: Semiochemical screening for the cacao mirid bug Helopeltis bakeri Poppius. On the other hand, Meril showcased her research entitled: Surface Characterization and Wetting Properties of Coconut Scale Insects, Aspidiotus destructor Signoret and Aspidiotus rigidus Reyne (Hemiptera: Diaspididae). Both University Research Associates presented also their research plans. The Molecular Ecology and Health Unit conducts weekly webinars during the COVID pandemic.
